Hold effective one-to-ones, caseload reviews and performance discussions. Support individual officers to manage workloads, priorities and application timescales effectively. Maintain oversight of team capacity, workloads, performance pressures and operational risks, escalating issues where necessary. Provide professional guidance and act as an escalation point for complex, sensitive or high-risk planning cases. Provide additional leadership capacity to the Head of Planning Services, including assistance with staffing, performance and operational matters.
