Despatch Operator

Our well established client based in Bradford, West Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Spares Despatch Operator / Warehouse Operator to work in the Spares Packing department. The Role of Despatch Operator Working in a very busy spares packing department situated in the warehouse area, despatching approximately 30 orders per day working to a daily deadline. Identifying and picking parts from the stores warehouse and retrieving parts from other locations throughout the site Packing parts suitable for UK and Export shipments (boxes, crates, pallets etc.) Using various specialised packing/ strapping/ weight machines Booking parts in/out through SAP computer system creating customer despatch notes Booking consignments/ creating labels and daily manifests onto external carrier computer systems (DPD, FedEx, Freightroute) Assisting the load of parcels/ pallets onto 3 carrier vehicles everyday by manual lifting and forklift Dealing directly with customer collections in an efficient professional manner Liaising with despatch courier drivers Skills/Experience Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to a strict deadline every day Computer literacy with accuracy and attention to detail at all times Capable of working unsupervised, able to use own initiative and prioritising workloads accordingly A great team player, motivated and pro-active Have excellent communication skills Fork lift truck licence would be advantageous but NOT essential Proven track record ..... full job details .....
