DESPATCH OPERATIVE

FLT / Despatch OperatorLocation: StourportWorking Hours: • Monday Thursday: 7:00am 4:00pm (30 min lunch) • Friday: 7:00am 1:00pmRole Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Despatch Operator to join our team in Stourport. This role is essential in ensuring goods are accurately checked, packed, and dispatched efficiently to support production and customer needs.Key Responsibilities: • Manual handling and packing of parts • Checking parts and preparing items for despatch • Greeting drivers and checking/signing paperwork during loading • Supporting production flow by prompt packing from Assembly • Loading vehicles safely and efficiently • Completing and distributing despatch documentation • Following all Health and Safety procedures • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace • Supporting other departments when required • Operating equipment such as chop saws, nail guns, banding machines, and forkliftsRequirements: • Valid and in-date forklift licence (external licences only in-house certificates cannot be accepted) • Good level of physical fitness • Strong attention to detail • Good problem-solving skills • Time management and ability to work independently • Good communication skills (reading and writing in English) • Team player with warehouse or factory experience preferredWhat We Offer: • Competitive hourly pay • Consistent weekday hours with early Friday finish • Supportive working environment • Opportunity within a fast-paced and growing ..... full job details .....
