Hours: 17:00–01:00
Pay: £13.54 - £18 per hour
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Despatch Team Member to join a busy pharmaceutical logistics operation.
Working as part of the despatch team, you will play an important role in ensuring pharmaceutical and healthcare products are accurately picked, checked, prepared and despatched to customers safely and efficiently. Attention to detail is essential, as all products must be handled in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and prepare pharmaceutical and healthcare products for despatch.
  • Check orders accurately against despatch documentation.
  • Pack and label products correctly and securely.
  • Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to process orders.
  • Ensure the correct products and quantities are despatched.
  • Check products for damage, shortages or discrepancies.
  • Ensure products are handled and stored under the correct environmental conditions.
  • Follow stock rotation procedures and company guidelines.
  • Prepare completed orders for collection and onward distribution.
  • Report any damaged, missing or non-conforming goods to the appropriate team.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete relevant warehouse documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily despatch and operational targets.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GDP guidelines and company policies.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
  • Ideally, previous experience within despatch, order picking or packing.
  • Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills and confidence using handheld scanners.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to carry out manual handling duties, including lifting and moving stock.
  • Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.
Desirable
  • Previous pharmaceutical, healthcare or regulated warehouse experience.
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Previous despatch or order fulfilment experience.
  • Knowledge of GDP or other regulated working practices.
