Our client is seeking an experienced Despatch Operative to work as a member of the Dispatch Team primarily responsible for Picking & Packing of customer orders and attaching all associated shipping documentation & palletising in ready for carrier collection.
Main Responsibilities of the Despatch Operative

• Daily Picking & packing of customer Orders
• Putting away in set locations and booking onto IT system
• Checking customer orders, with accuracy and reporting any errors to dispatch supervisor.
• Completing all dispatch paperwork to correct standards.
• To ensure that all processes are carried in line with standard operating procedures.
• Good, effective communications, raise any non-conformities are actioned
• Any other duties as requested by a member of the management team.

Skills

• Good verbal and written skills.
• A proactive thinker with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
• Knowledge and basic user of Microsoft Office tools (SAP would be an advantage)
• Strong organisational skills.
