Despatch Operative

My client is looking to add to their team in despatch to fulfil customer orders in accordance with specified requirements and timescales and provide the best possible service to all customers at all times The role involves:- To undertake work as directed by the Logistics Supervisor / Team Leaders To adhere to instructions issued by the Logistics Supervisor / Team Leaders To remove stock from storage in accordance with picking list instructions To adhere to correct stock rotation procedure To ensure that goods passed to packing area are correct in batch, description and quantity as described on picking list. To ensure that picking lists are passed to packing area along with goods to be packed. To inform Logistics Supervisor / Team Leaders of any discrepancy in batch, storage bin or quantity as soon as possible. To inform Logistics Supervisor / Team Leaders of any problems with orders as soon as they are discovered. To ensure that goods are packed correctly with reference to picking list instructions regarding packaging and labelling requirements. To ensure that any unused stock is correctly labelled with quantity and storage bin before it is returned to stock. To return surplus / unused goods to original storage bin as soon as is practical. To supply raw materials to Production department as required To package manufactured goods in accordance with company requirements To perform operations in SAP system as required To operate external carrier despatch systems To adhere to ..... full job details .....
