Despatch Operative

Our client in Newhaven, West Sussex is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Despatch worker to join their manufacturing team. Assist in the packaging and DESPATCH DEPT in preparation of finished products for shipment. To ensure that correct procedures in packaging are followed. Follow health and safety protocols at all times during assembly operations. SAFETY SHOES REQUIRED. This a temp to perm role for the right candidate. Hours of work: 8am to 5pm Mon to Thurs- 8am to 1.30pm -Fridays. £12.71 x 39.5 hrs per week = £502 per week PLUS-Holiday pay on accrued hours- Equivalent to £26,100 per annum when transferred onto a permanant contract. The successful candidate will possibly be involved in the assembling of picture frames with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic warehouse environment, contributing to the production process of various goods. Other duties when required Assembly of wooden picture frames and products following detailed specifications and diagrams. Use hand tools and power tools to secure parts and complete assemblies Inspect assembled items for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace to facilitate efficient workflow. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
