Despatch CoOrdinator

Despatch Co-ordinator; Gloucester; 6 months; £17.40ph paye; Inside iR35 We currently have a requirement for individual to work with an aerospace client based in Gloucester as a Despatch Coordinator . The role will be working within the Inbound Logistics Despatch team to support the Logistics team on daily Despatch Co-ordination activity; there will be some manual handling Hours of work Dayshift 37hrs per week 07 00 M TH, 07 30 FR. Duties will include Co-ordinate material flow through Logistics stores, Packing, Despatch and Customs processes through to Despatch/delivery to external Customer and Sister sites. Liaise with Logistics 3rd Party freight and customs providers, 3pl and company Logistics teams, Inspection and certification personnel. Consolidate loads to create Van and Artic trailer consignments to maximise vehicle load fill and minimise number of despatches Process all shipments through SAP where possible but utilising Manual shipment process where necessary Manage and sort deliveries inbound from DHL Hub needed for from OE despatches e.g. CAT B, etc breakdown and sort identified priorities Support Inspection team in packing activity Log all shipments in transit in DHL ClearIt system- liaise with DHL Hayes for T1 s Liaise with Freight forwarders, Transportation suppliers and drivers as required Act as initial focal for any Despatch/Shipping related queries Flexible working to support other logistics functions including Military and Gear despatches where ..... full job details .....
