Despatch Coordinator-
Leeds, LS11
Monday to Friday - Office Hours
-15.01 per hour - weekly pay + accrued holiday pay
Concept Recruitment are working with our client in LS11 to recruit a Despatch Coordinator on a 3 month temporary contract.-
*Please note our client operates a non-smoking/vaping policy. Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere onsite, and staff are expected to remain onsite during working hours.*
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing the despatch desk to ensure smooth and cost-effective delivery planning.
- Generating picking instructions and coordinating with warehouse and production teams.
- Providing accurate delivery instructions to haulage partners.
- Checking and validating load references against supplier invoices.
- Monitoring performance and delivery KPIs.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and supporting Lean Manufacturing techniques.-
- Ensuring full compliance with quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards.
- Covering other logistics admin roles during holidays, sickness or absence.
The candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a logistics/despatch administration role.-
- Excellent communication skills - both internal and external.
- Strong attention to details and confidence using IT/business systems.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.-
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Good timekeeping, positive attitude, and a commitment to quality.
