Desktop support Engineers (Level 2)
Job Overview:We are looking for a T2 Technician who will act as an on-site IT Support Engineer, providingdesktop and end-user support services. The role involves working either as partof a team or as the single point of contact for site-related IT issues, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and meeting room technologies.Start Date: 22 June 2026End Date:30 August 2030Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30Location: Garth Road, Gwynedd, Bangor, LL57 2RGWorking Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30Rate: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £14.90/hr PAYE OR £19.33/hr (via a Hays approved umbrella company)Key ResponsibilitiesAct as on-site IT support, either independently or within a teamPerform desktop hardware installations, upgrades, and swapsProvide desk-side support for hardware and software issuesHandle walk-up user queries efficiently and professionallyInitiate automated builds and post-login configurations for laptopsCoordinate hardware repairs via defined warranty processesMaintain accurate system records in ServiceNow and follow strict processesConduct proactive desk and meeting room checks to ensure availabilityProvide meeting room support and fault diagnosisEscalate issues or risks to Team Leaders as necessaryKey RequirementsProven experience in desktop support/IT support roles (2nd line/T2 level)Strong knowledge of hardware installation, troubleshooting, and repair coordinationFamiliarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)Ability to ..... full job details .....
