Due to the nature of the work, the client remains confidential at this stage, but this is an excellent opportunity to work within a secure, enterprise-level IT environment delivering first-class end-user support.This is an on-site role based in either Barrow-in-Furness or Manchester, supporting users across a fast-paced and technically diverse environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1st and 2nd line desktop support to end users.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and peripheral issues.Build, configure and deploy desktops, laptops and mobile devices.Install, configure and support Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications.Manage user accounts, permissions and access requests.Support meeting room technologies, printers and AV equipment.Log, update and resolve incidents and service requests using an ITSM tool.Escalate complex technical issues where appropriate while maintaining ownership through to resolution.Perform hardware replacements, repairs and asset management activities.Ensure all work is completed in line with security policies and service level agreements (SLAs).Essential ..... full job details .....
