Desktop Support EngineerLocation: Central Guildford (Fully on-site)Contract Length: 4 - 6 monthsWorking Hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pmSalary: 45,000 ( 23.07 per hour) We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer to join a leading, international organisation at their Guildford office to provide on-site technical support. This contract role will support the existing IT team during a period of increased workload, providing hands-on user support while assisting with the maintenance and administration of local IT infrastructure.This is a hands on role supporting a busy team with a range of IT issues. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in an on-site setting, liaising with users in person, troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of issues.Key responsibilities include;Provide on-site IT support to users, resolving hardware, software and infrastructure-related issuesTroubleshoot and resolve issues relating to desktops, laptops, peripherals, software applications and user accessSupport user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, equipment provisioning and access managementInstall, configure and maintain hardware and softwareManage IT assets, inventory tracking and equipment lifecycle processesAssist with the coordination and maintenance of local IT infrastructureAssist with testing and deployment of system changes and releasesProvide remote support to users when required The ideal ..... full job details .....
