Job Title: Deskside Support (5x a week on site) Location: Edinburgh 5x a week Salary/Rate: £147 Daily Start Date: 01/08/2026 Job Type: Initial 6 month (likelihood of extension) contract Inside IR35Company Introduction We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our financial services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Deskside support to join their team for an initial six-month contract.What you will be doing:Provide on-site desktop support for end usersTake end-to-end ownership of incidents and service requests to ensure timely resolution.Coordinate with cross-functional IT teams for issue resolutionSupport user onboarding, including device setup and account provisioningManage incidents and service requests using ITSM tools (eg, ServiceNow)Ensure accurate ticket logging, categorisation, and resolution trackingAdhere to SLAs and follow ITIL-based processesPrioritise and resolve issues based on business impactInstall, configure, and troubleshoot Windows laptops and desktopsSupport multi-monitor setups and peripheral devicesTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.Provide support for collaboration tools (eg, Microsoft 365, Teams)Support mobile devices and remote access solutionsProvide support for VDI/Citrix or virtual desktop environmentsUser andamp; Stakeholder Support:Communicate effectively with end users and provide timely updates on issues.Maintain a high level of customer service and user satisfactionHandle ..... full job details .....
