Interim Designated Clinical OfficerBased in London, hybridLength: 3 months initially Inside IR35 Rate: £419 per day via an umbrella company We''re working with a London-based organisation to appoint an interim Designated Clinical Officer (DCO) to support the delivery of SEND responsibilities across health and education. This senior-level role will coordinate multi-agency input into EHCPs, advise on statutory compliance, and support service improvement across the local health and care system.Key Responsibilities include: Act as the central point of contact for health input into EHCPs, Annual Reviews, and tribunal cases Liaise with schools, health providers, and local authority teams to ensure statutory duties are met Provide expert advice on SEND legislation, policy, and best practice across the ICB Support the development and implementation of SEND strategies and improvement plans Ensure smooth transitions between children''s and adult health services Represent health on inter-agency panels and contribute to strategic planningExperience and knowledge required:Strong understanding of SEND legislation and multi-agency working Clinical background (e.g. nursing, therapy, mental health) with experience in children and young people''s services Experience working across health and local authority settings Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead on complex casework Enhanced DBS required To apply for this role or to find out about other jobs, please contact the London Local ..... full job details .....
