The school provides a well-equipped environment designed to support practical learning and give students access to high-quality DT resources.The school is looking to appoint a Design Technology Technician on a full-time basis, working five days per week for the rest of the academic year with an immediate start. The successful Design Technology Technician will support the preparation of materials and equipment, maintain workshop areas and assist teaching staff to ensure practical lessons run safely and effectively.The successful Design Technology Technician will have: A Health and Safety qualification is preferred but not essentialExperience working in a Design Technology, workshop or practical learning environmentKnowledge of safe working practices and equipment maintenanceStrong organisational skillsThe ability to prepare materials and equipment for practical lessonsA reliable, proactive and flexible approach ..... full job details .....
