The Role:
You will be teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus, but not required), with potential areas including product design, resistant materials, graphics, and CAD/CAM. You''ll plan and deliver practical and engaging lessons, support students in developing their design and technical skills, and ensure a safe, well-organised workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver creative and well-structured DT lessons that engage and inspire students
Encourage hands-on learning through a variety of design and manufacturing projects
Monitor, assess, and provide feedback on student progress
Maintain and manage workshop tools, materials, and equipment
Collaborate with the DT department to develop curriculum and resources
Contribute to the wider school community and participate in staff duties
What We''re Looking For:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred but not essential)
