The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DT Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4. This full-time role begins in January 2026 and has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across a range of DT specialisms, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
andbull; Deliver engaging and high-quality Design Technology lessons
andbull; Plan and deliver lessons across various DT disciplines (e.g., Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics)
andbull; Support student progress and well-being
andbull; Collaborate effectively with the schoolandrsquo;s teaching staff
andbull; Maintain a safe, organised, and inclusive workshop environment
andbull; Follow school policies and behaviour management practices
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For
andbull; Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
andbull; Strong subject knowledge and practical DT skills
andbull; Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management
andbull; A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
andbull; Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
