Design Sustainability Engineer

We are working with a well established MandE contractor delivering mechanical and electrical services across refurbishment, maintenance and fit-out projects within the commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Design and Sustainability Engineer to support both design development and sustainability initiatives across multiple Central London projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work across both technical design and environmental performance, with exposure to live projects and close collaboration with delivery teams. Key Responsibilities: Support the design and coordination of MandE systems across refurbishment and fit-out projects Assist in developing energy efficient and sustainable design solutions Work closely with project, commercial and site teams to ensure designs are practical and deliverable Contribute to sustainability strategies, including carbon reduction and energy modelling initiatives Review technical drawings, specifications and submittals Monitor compliance with current regulations, building standards and sustainability targets Attend site visits across Central London to support project delivery and implementation Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and clients throughout the project lifecycle About You: Background in Mechanical and Electrical (MandE) engineering, construction or building services Experience or strong interest in ..... full job details .....
