As Design Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and improving product designs and documentation
- Supporting production, purchasing, and quality teams
- Leading product and prototype testing, validation, and verification
- Managing engineering change notes and updating CAD drawings
- Supporting cost-down initiatives and supplier approvals
As Design Support Engineer, your experience will include:
- HND/Degree in Design Engineering (minimum)
- 5+ years in a Design Engineering role
- Proficiency in CAD (Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.) and BoM management
- Understanding of QA procedures, DfM, and GD&T to BS8888
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
- Excellent communication and time management
