Design Office Engineer Location: Whitland, onsite HOURS: Full time 8am 5pm Monday - Friday Type: Staff role Salary range: £32,000.00 - £40,000.00 depending on experience Our client: Our client, based in Whitland are looking for a Design Office Engineer to join their busy team.Job Description/ The role: The Design Office Engineer will create and develop manufacturing-ready designs, produce detailed 3D models and technical drawings in Autodesk Inventor, and support the delivery of practical engineering solutions from concept to production. Responsibilities: Produce detailed 3D designs and technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor. Develop innovative and manufacturable engineering solutions. Maintain accurate engineering documentation and bills of materials. Work closely with production and project teams to deliver cost-effective designs. Support design improvements, problem solving, and product development activities. Ensure all work is completed accurately and on schedule. What is required from you: Experienced in a Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, or similar role. Confident using Autodesk Inventor to produce high-quality 3D models and drawings. Knowledgeable about manufacturing methods and engineering drawings. A proactive problem-solver with a practical approach to design. Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
