      <description>Location: Chichester | Salary: &amp;pound;500 - &amp;pound;575/day &amp;pound;500 - &amp;pound;575 per day | Type: Temporary | A major civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering long-term investment programmes within the UK water sector is seeking an experienced Design Manager to support the delivery of AMP8 projects across the South East. Based from the Chichester area, you''ll join an established project team working on a diverse portfolio of clean water and wastewater schemes. This is a contract opportunity suited to someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced project environment, managing technical delivery, design coordination and stakeholder engagement from pre-construction through to site delivery.   The Role    Working closely with project managers, operational teams, consultants and client representatives, you will take ownership of the design management function across a range of water infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be expected to drive design progress, challenge engineering solutions where required and ensure designs are delivered in line with programme, budget and construction requirements.
