LOCATION: Office based in Bedford COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Milton Keynes, Northampton, Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Neots, Biggleswade JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Engineering Design Manager, Mechanical Design Engineer, Drawing Office Manager - packaging machinery, turnkey capital equipment, industrial equipment As our Design Manager, you will be managing the companies Mechanical Design Engineering function (Drawing Office) and a team of 5 Mechanical Design Engineers. You will spend 50% of your time managing and leading the team, and 50% as a hands on Design Engineer. You will be expected to achieve agreed delivery times and KPI s on new machines, upgrades and spare parts, to create drawings, BOM s and spares lists and will be expected to liaise effectively with the Electrical Design, Software and Controls and manufacturing teams.
