Design Manager (MandE Fit-Out)Location: Hospital Project, NW3, London Contract Type: Contract Rate: £450 - £500 per day (depending on experience) Duration: Project-specific contract initially 8 weeks, with review to extendThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team on a major hospital fit-out project in North-West London (NW3). Working for a leading MandE Fit-Out Contractor, you will be responsible for managing the design and technical submissions, design documentation, and coordination activities are delivered to programme and in accordance with project requirements.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and technically strong Design Manager with experience of healthcare, commercial, critical environment, or large-scale MandE projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Management Manage and coordinate the complete design process for Mechanical and Electrical fit-out works.Lead design review meetings with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams.Ensure design deliverables are issued in accordance with the project programme.Monitor design progress and identify risks, delays, and opportunities.Manage and maintain the design responsibility matrix.Coordinate design activities between MandE disciplines and other trades.
