An Excellent opportunity for an individual with strong management experience within the engineering industry looking to join a well-established, local company where you will be able to have full reins of implementing a lean environment and good team culture.

The company are industry leaders in their given sector and work with a host of reputable customers and clients across the UK. They are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join the team to oversee engineers within the design team.

This role would suit an individual with strong management experience within the manufacturing/engineering sector looking for an exciting but challenging role within a well established business.

The Role:

• Reporting directly to the MD, managing a team of engineers within design to ensure that work is up to quality standards, within the specified timeframes and within budget.
• Implement lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, continuous improvement
• Work with multidisciplinary teams such as manufacturing, sales
• 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday

The Person:

• Experienced Engineering Manager
• Experience/undestanding of sheet metal design and manufacture
• Strong people management with excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proven experience of driving a good team work culture, implementing continuous improvement
