Design Manager - 50m Birmingham Industrial ProjectSalary: 65,000 - 75,000 + Car/Allowance, Bonus, and Comprehensive PackageAre you a dynamic and experienced Design Manager with a passion for industrial construction?I am working with a leading national main contractor, with an impressive turnover of 500m, specializing in delivering large-scale residential and industrial projects up to 200m. Due to continued growth and a new project win, they are looking for a skilled Design Manager to join their team and lead the design for a brand-new, 50m industrial scheme in Birmingham.The Role:As the Design Manager, you will be responsible for the full design management of this significant industrial development. Your key responsibilities will include:Managing the design process from initial concept through to practical completion.Coordinating and leading a team of external design consultants.Ensuring all design information is accurate, well-coordinated, and delivered on time.Reviewing and approving technical drawings and specifications.Proactively identifying and resolving design issues to minimize delays and costs.Acting as the primary point of contact for all design-related queries on-site.Liaising with the client, project teams, and sub-contractors to ensure a smooth design flow.The Candidate:The successful candidate will be a proactive and technically competent Design Manager with a strong background in industrial or commercial construction projects.
