Design Manager roles and responsibilities Manage and coordinate the design process throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants, specialist subcontractors and supply-chain partners. Ensure design information is delivered on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Lead design coordination meetings, reviews and technical workshops. Identify and resolve design and technical issues to minimise impact on the construction programme. Work closely with the Project Manager, Commercial, Planning and Construction teams to ensure effective project delivery. Monitor design progress and ensure all technical information is available to support construction activities.
