Design ManagerLocation: Nottingham / Birmingham (mix of site and office-based working) Salary: 65,000 - 75,000What You''ll DoOversee the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create cost-effective and efficient designs. Manage the project design budget and timeline. Work closely with the client team, liaising across multiple projects. Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure all agreed actions are delivered and any issues are resolved to their satisfaction. Lead design team meetings and provide regular updates to senior management on project progress. Ensure all projects adhere to company standards and industry regulations. Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the design and construction process.What We''re Looking ForSkills and ExperienceProven experience as a Design Manager for a main contractor. Experience within the construction industry, specifically across design and build, new build, and refurbishment projects. Strong knowledge of current CDM and Building Regulations.
