Design ManagerLocation: Derby, DerbyshireSalary: Up to 75,000 + packageSector: Construction - Residential, Industrial, Commercial and EducationCompany: Tier 2 Main ContractorThe OpportunityWe are working with an established Tier 2 main contractor based in Derbyshire, who are looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager to join their growing team.With a strong portfolio across residential, industrial, commercial and education projects, the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality schemes throughout the region.This is an exciting opportunity for a Design Manager looking to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.The RoleAs Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design process across a range of projects, ensuring designs are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality and technical standards.Your responsibilities will include:Managing the design process from pre-construction through to project completionCoordinating architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and suppliersReviewing and challenging designs to ensure they are technically compliant, buildable and commercially viableManaging design programmes, deliverables and approvalsIdentifying and resolving design issues and risksWorking closely with the Commercial and Pre-Construction teamsAttending and leading design ..... full job details .....
