We are looking for a Design Manager to join our client who are a firmly established ground and earthworks contractor based in North London. Drive the design strategy from project inception to completion, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional quality. You''ll lead a multidisciplinary team of consultants and subcontractors, ensuring all design outputs align with project goals, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include: Spearheading the design process, from pre-construction planning through to final project delivery. Orchestrating collaboration between internal teams, external architects, and specialist subcontractors. Guaranteeing design deliverables meet project timelines, specifications, and technical standards. Overseeing design approvals and facilitating effective communication with clients and stakeholders. Proactively identifying and mitigating potential design risks. Contributing to value engineering and buildability reviews in partnership with delivery teams. Maintaining strict adherence to company standards, regulations, and security protocols. What You Bring: Proven experience as a Design Manager on large-scale construction projects.
