Design Manager

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join a specialist cladding and fa-ade contractor.

You will be responsible for managing the design process across multiple projects, coordinating with architects, consultants, project teams and suppliers to ensure designs are technically compliant, buildable and delivered on programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cladding and fa-ade design from pre-construction through to completion.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinate design information with architects, consultants and project teams.
• Manage RFIs, design changes and technical queries.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and relevant standards.
• Coordinate fa-ade interfaces, including cladding, glazing, SFS and fire barriers.
• Attend design and client meetings.
• Support procurement, installation and project handover.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Design Manager, Design Coordinator or Fa-ade Designer.
• Strong background in cladding, fa-ades or building envelope systems.
• Experience with rainscreen cladding, SFS, curtain walling or glazing.
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
• Strong communication, organisation and technical coordination skills.
• Recladding, high-rise or fa-ade remediation experience would be advantageous.
