The project involves the phased redevelopment of a large multistorey car park, comprising a steel frame and concrete decks , with works including refurbishment, partial demolition and rebuilding following historic fire damage. The programme is expected to run for approximately five years across 5-6 phases , with sections of the car park remaining operational throughout. The first phase comprises refurbishment works and is due to start on site before Christmas 2026 .
