Design Manager - Facades & Cladding

I''m currently working with a leading fa-ade contractor who is looking to appoint a Design Manager to join their expanding technical team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a business delivering high-profile fa-ade projects across the residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors. You''ll play a key role in coordinating the design process, ensuring technical compliance and supporting successful project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role:

• Managing the fa-ade design process from tender stage through to project completion
• Coordinating architects, consultants, clients and internal project teams
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical submissions
• Managing external design consultants and specialist subcontract designers
• Ensuring designs comply with current regulations, including fire safety requirements
• Resolving technical design issues and supporting site teams throughout delivery
• Monitoring design programmes to ensure key milestones are achieved

What I''m Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Design Manager within the fa-ade or cladding sector
• Strong technical understanding of rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, glazing or external envelope systems
• Experience managing the full design lifecycle on fa-ade projects
• Good knowledge of current building regulations and industry standards
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
