Design ManagerLocation: MalvernSalary: 60,000 - 80,000 + Car Allowance + BenefitsA leading regional main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager to join their growing team based in Malvern.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the Midlands and South West. The business delivers projects across education, healthcare, residential and leisure sectors, with project values ranging from 250k to 30m.The Role Managing design across multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion and handoverCoordinating consultants, subcontractors, clients and internal project teamsChairing design team meetings and driving design progressManaging design programmes and information release schedulesReviewing designs for buildability, compliance and value engineering opportunitiesEnsuring compliance with Building Regulations, planning requirements and CDM regulationsSupporting BIM processes and managing project documentation through the Common Data EnvironmentWorking closely with operational and commercial teams to support successful project deliveryProviding technical guidance and solutions throughout the project lifecycle Requirements Previous experience as a Design Manager within the construction industryExperience working for a main contractor preferredStrong understanding of design management processes across pre-construction and delivery phasesAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and ..... full job details .....
