Design Manager Hybrid workingJob Description SummaryWe are looking for a Design Manager with a background in Civil Engineering to join our clients integrated team and lead the design of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects on their Wastewater and Water Frameworks from outline design through to detailed design, construction and commissioning support.Job DescriptionAs design manager you will be responsible for the direct management of an in-house team of designers. You will oversee, promote and develop our design processes using technical expertise to ensure compliance with quality standards and to deliver a first class design service.Undertake the Principal Designer (CDM 2015) duties on behalf of the company. Embrace the importance of Health and Safety in all circumstances and lead by examplePerforming and coordinating internal and external activities associated with civil and infrastructure design, in line with client, specifications and design standards.Duties will include managing and coordinating the preparation of design solutions at various stages of a project; preparation of drawings, reports, specifications, and estimates; document management; attendance at meetings and checking the work of other team members to ensure accuracy.Co-ordination of a wide range of discipline inputs; monitoring and protecting our client relationships; planning and programming; commercial management and presenting projects for audit.Maintaining on-going communication with relevant ..... full job details .....
