Design Manager - Data Centre ConstructionLocation: Blyth, Northumberland3D Personnel are recruiting on behalf of an established international main contractor delivering major data centre and mission-critical construction projects across the UK and Europe.Our client is seeking an experienced Design Manager to oversee the coordinated delivery of CSA and MEP design packages on a major data centre development in Blyth.The RoleManage the in-house design team and external engineering and architectural consultantsCoordinate CSA and MEP design packages throughout the construction programmeOversee technical submittals, RFIs, IFC drawing releases and design deliverablesMaintain the design risk register and ensure compliance with Safety in Design requirementsCoordinate OFCI vendor information and integration into the wider designSupport LEED requirements and sustainability-related design obligationsLiaise with temporary works teams and construction managers to resolve design interfacesManage design coordination meetings and ensure technical issues are resolved to programmeCandidate Requirements8+ years'' experience managing design delivery on major construction projectsDegree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related disciplineStrong experience coordinating multidisciplinary CSA and MEP designExcellent understanding of construction documentation, design risk and technical complianceConfident managing design consultants, subcontractors and internal project teamsData centre ..... full job details .....
