About the Role

I am seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead and oversee design operations for a fast-paced and growing business. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the design team, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality design solutions across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

• Oversee the design process from concept through to delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with business objectives.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and delivered on time.

• Manage resources, budgets, and schedules to meet project requirements.

• Champion design best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Act as the key point of contact for clients and internal teams on all design-related matters.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Design Manage with the Main Contracting space.

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop talent.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to challenge and support the team.

• Highly organised, with strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
