Design Manager - PBSA / High-Rise Projects
Location: Bristol (across 2 sites)
Salary: -65,000 - -70,000 + Benefits
Our client, a respected Tier 1 contractor, is recruiting a Design Manager to lead design delivery across two high-rise PBSA schemes in Bristol. Each project involves complex concrete frame construction with stringent post-Building Safety Act requirements. The successful candidate will have two Assistant Design Managers reporting in and play a pivotal role in the safe, timely, and compliant delivery of these schemes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage design across two live PBSA sites.
- Lead design reviews, workshops, and coordination meetings.
- Ensure compliance with Building Safety Act requirements.
- Manage two Assistant Design Managers, providing leadership and mentoring.
- Drive technical assurance, programme alignment, and buildability.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and statutory bodies.
