      <description>Location: Ipswich | Salary: 65000.00-65000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a successful regional main contractor delivering projects across the education, healthcare, commercial, residential and public sectors. Responsibilities  Manage the design process from pre-construction through to project completion. Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and project teams. Ensure design information is delivered on time and to programme. Review technical drawings and design submissions. Identify and manage design risks and buildability issues. Support project delivery and pre-construction teams.  Requirements  Previous Design Manager experience with a main contractor. Strong technical and construction knowledge. Good understanding of Building Regulations and construction processes. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Full UK driving licence.
