This is an excellent opportunity for a Design Manager with a strong technical background who also has experience in project management and CDM.The successful Design Manager will work across a varied portfolio of construction projects, coordinating design teams from the early stages through to delivery. Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors, the Design Manager will help ensure that designs are coordinated, buildable, compliant and delivered in line with programme requirements.The Design Manager''s RoleThe Design Manager will take responsibility for managing the design process across multiple projects, acting as a key point of contact between clients, architects, engineers and contractors.Responsibilities will include:Managing and coordinating the design process from pre-construction through to completionReviewing design information and identifying technical or programme risksChairing design team meetings and monitoring design actionsSupporting project management activities, including programmes, reporting and stakeholder coordinationEnsuring projects meet relevant Building Regulations and CDM requirementsWorking closely with Principal Designers and project teams to manage design riskLiaising with clients and providing clear technical advice throughout the project ..... full job details .....
