Working closely with main contractors, architects, consultants and specialist subcontractors, they have developed a strong reputation for technically demanding projects where design coordination, quality and programme are critical.Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager to strengthen their technical team.About the RoleThe Design Manager will take responsibility for managing and coordinating the design process from pre-construction through to project completion. The Design Manager will work closely with clients, consultants, project teams and subcontractors to ensure designs are technically compliant, buildable and delivered in line with programme requirements.As Design Manager, you will review drawings and specifications, identify design risks, manage RFIs and technical submissions, and coordinate interfaces between architectural, structural, MEP and specialist interior packages.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the design process across multiple interior and fit-out projects.Coordinate architectural, MEP and specialist subcontractor information.Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions for buildability and compliance.Chair design coordination meetings and maintain design programmes and trackers.Manage ..... full job details .....
