Design Manager London £55,000 - £65,000 + Excellent Benefits An established and highly respected UK construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-profile construction projects, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams from pre-construction through to project completion. The Role As Design Manager, you''ll take ownership of the design process, ensuring information is coordinated, programmes are maintained, risks are managed and projects are delivered to the highest quality standards. You''ll work collaboratively with commercial, operational and design teams, helping to drive projects forward while ensuring technical excellence throughout. Key Responsibilities Manage the design process from tender through to project completion. Coordinate and manage external consultants and specialist subcontractors. Produce and maintain design programmes and information release schedules. Chair design coordination meetings and workshops. Review design information for quality, compliance and buildability. Manage RFIs, design changes and technical queries. Support value engineering and procurement activities. Work closely with project, commercial and planning teams.
