The successful applicant must have a design background, as they will support technical design investigations within the team for improvement projects, and will act as the main interface for the team to the key stakeholders - namely the Operations management teams, and key engineering stakeholders. They will be required to manage the generation of appropriate design improvements with the Operational teams, and will be responsible for managing the delivery of the projects, either via internal resource, or via alternative sources such as engineering offload suppliers. Whilst this role is technical, the key strength of the successful candidate will be the ability to project manage deliverables, and establish key relationships with management teams. This will enable the individual to communicate to the Operational teams the progress of the projects, provide updates, and manage any changes to the delivery plan accordingly, in a challenging environment.
