      <description>Location: Lichfield | Salary: 40000.00-40000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Design Engineer£40,000 Basic SalaryLichfieldExperience and QualificationsOur client is looking for someone with demonstrable experience in a design engineering or product development role. While a degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design or a related discipline is preferred, relevant hands-on experience may be considered.Preferred (not required):Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design or a related engineering disciplineProficiency in 3D CAD modelling is essential (SolidWorks preferred)Experience taking products from concept through to manufactureExperience of working to BS/ISO or equivalent industry standards desirable but not essentialPurpose of RoleThe role is responsible for providing technical services, design, drawing and modelling product range.
