Design Engineer

White Label is representing an engineering and manufacturing business based in Bradford who require a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. Working closely with the Project Director and collaborating with QA, planning, and shop floor teams, you will play a key role in delivering complete engineering packages from 3D design and detailed drawings through to third-party inspection sign-off and final acceptance testing. My client is offering: A salary of 35,000 - 45,000 depending on experience 25 days holiday + bank holidays Flexitime and hybrid working policies Standard company pension contribution Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer: Produce 3D GA design drawings using Autodesk Inventor Create detailed 2D construction drawings using AutoCAD Assist in delivering complete pressure vessel or skid package designs from concept to manufacture Produce tagging and nameplate drawings, and BOMs for procurement Liaise with Project Director and attend customer project meetings Collaborate with QA, planning, and shopfloor teams internally Coordinate with Third Party Inspection Authorities for drawing/calculation approvals Contribute to hazard analysis, risk assessments, and PED reviews Support project schedule monitoring, goods inspection, and FAT checking Experience required of the Mechanical Design Engineer: Strong background in pressure vessel, heat exchanger or similar Proficient with 3D Inventor and 2D AutoCAD, other CAD systems will be considered Good ..... full job details .....
