Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Engineer to join a specialist construction manufacturer working across bespoke and standard products.

The successful Design Engineer will use AutoCAD and specialist design software to produce technical solutions while working closely with estimating, project and commercial teams.

As a Design Engineer, you will manage between 10 and 20 projects simultaneously, interpreting drawings, developing practical solutions and communicating confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.

This Design Engineer role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership and contributing to project success from enquiry through to delivery.

The company is looking for a Design Engineer with initiative, ambition and the desire to grow alongside the business. Personality, communication skills and a proactive approach are just as important as technical capability.

Skills & Experience:

• 3-5+ years'' design experience preferred.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Background within fenestration, glazing, fa-ades, curtain walling, cladding or building envelope sectors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commercial awareness.
• Customer-facing experience advantageous.
• Self-motivated and solution-driven.
