Design Engineer - Telecoms/Network Design Location: Glasgow - Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite Rate: £325 - £350 per day, all inclusive Outside IR35 Duration: 6-month rolling contract Location - Please read Candidates must already be based in Scotland. Glasgow-based candidates are strongly preferred. Unfortunately, candidates looking to relocate to Scotland from elsewhere cannot be considered. Spec: We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join a technical Design Team supporting the delivery of telecommunications projects within the energy sector. The Role Working closely with Project Engineers and other technical specialists, you will be responsible for producing detailed engineering documentation from high-level project information and providing technical input throughout the project life cycle. Key responsibilities will include: Producing comprehensive engineering documentation in line with project specifications and requirements Owning and managing end-to-end design documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness Providing technical input into Change Requests (CRQs) Supporting the evaluation and implementation of technical changes Producing network design topology diagrams Updating network records Supporting Project Engineers during project delivery Providing technical guidance and helping resolve technical challenges Ensuring designs and documentation comply with relevant project standards and requirements Essential Skills andamp; Experience We are looking ..... full job details .....
