      <description>Location: Aberdeen | Salary: &amp;pound;45000 - &amp;pound;55000/annum | Type: Permanent | Mechanical Design Engineer - Subsea Tooling    Location:  Aberdeen   Salary:  Up to 55k   The Role   We are seeking a talented  Mechanical Design Engineer  to join our engineering team in the Aberdeen area. This role will focus on the  design and development of subsea cutting tooling , supporting a range of offshore projects.  You will play a key part in delivering innovative, robust, and reliable tooling solutions for challenging subsea environments, working from concept through to manufacture and deployment.      Key Responsibilities    Design and develop  subsea cutting tools and mechanical systems   Produce detailed engineering drawings and models using  CAD (SolidWorks desirable)   Conduct design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection  Support prototyping, testing, and validation of designs  Work closely with manufacturing, project, and offshore teams  Ensure designs meet industry standards and client specifications  Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering function       About You    Degree-qualified in  Mechanical Engineering  or a related discipline  Experience in  mechanical design , ideally within subsea, offshore, or oi...</description>
