      <description>Location: London | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Contract | Design Engineer (12 Months +)   We are supporting a  London-based food manufacturing organisation  with the appointment of a  Design Engineer  for a minimum of  12-months . This is a role that will be  outside IR35 .   Role Overview   Working closely with Project Managers and Engineers, you will be responsible for the creation, management, and coordination of engineering documentation, primarily via CAD. The role spans all project phases, from initial concept and design through to commissioning and closeout.   Key Responsibilities    Produce and develop detailed engineering drawings including PFDs, P&amp;IDs, and equipment layouts  Update existing drawings to reflect system modifications and enhancements  Utilise AutoCAD Plant 3D in line with best practice to ensure efficient, usable models  Work with point cloud data to extract geometry and support brownfield design  Assess spatial constraints, interferences, and clashes within existing facilities  Convert complex 3D data into clear, usable 2D deliverables for project teams  Generate isometric drawings and Bills of Materials  Conduct field measurements where required  Assist with project commissioning and provide technical support dur...</description>
