This role will involve designing bespoke mechanical and electrical integration components, producing engineering documentation, and supporting projects from initial concept through to final implementation.The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative vehicle enhancement and equipment installation projects while ensuring designs meet quality, safety, and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop design solutions for specialist vehicle modification and equipment integration projects.Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.Design brackets, mounting systems, enclosures, and supporting vehicle adaptations.Create and maintain engineering specifications, assembly instructions, and bills of materials.Ensure all designs align with relevant industry standards, safety requirements, and operational specifications.Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, and workshop teams to support efficient project delivery.Assist with prototype development, product trials, and design verification activities.Investigate technical issues and implement corrective design improvements where required.Maintain engineering records, design revisions, and document control ..... full job details .....
