Position: Design Engineer - Sheet Metal Location: BirminghamSalay: 30,000 - 40,000 depending on experience Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of sheet metal fabricated products based in central Birmingham, who due to ongoing success are seeking an enthusiastic Design Engineer to join their team, and produce manufacturing drawings with the use of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Design Engineer Position OverviewUsing AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to create manufacturing / fabrication drawings for the workshopLiaising with the manufacturing team to ensure drawings are understood and interpreted correctlyProducing 2D fabrication / weldments drawingsLogging CAD files on to the system, and creating Bill of Materials (BoM''s)Design Engineer Position RequirementsExperience with AutoCAD and 3D modelling software such as Solidworks or Autodesk InventorBased in a commutable distance of Central Birmingham2+ years of experience in a Design Engineering roleUnderstanding of metal fabrication / sheet metal design is a distinct advantage Good communication skillsIT literateDesign Engineer Position Remuneration Starting salary 30,000 - 40,000 depending on experienceMonday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week.
